Why I Made Good Skin For Men - Clinical Skincare
After more than a decade running a dedicated men’s hair and skin clinic in Perth, Western Australia, I've consistently seen men’s skin showing signs of ageing earlier than their chronological age. Pigmentation, sun spots, uneven tone, deep lines, loss of elasticity, redness, and roughness showing up 5-20 years ahead of time for many. These facts are captured by our in-clinic, advanced face imaging scanner that looks beneath the surface of the skin.
Unfortunately men have never been taught what the accumulative effect our harsh sun and environment has on their skin. Checking your buttocks or abdominal skin will show you what your skin should resemble. See what I'm referring to? Do you see sun and environmental damage on your face, neck or scalp?
I want to educate men on how to protect and improve their skin's appearance. Years spent working, training and living outdoors can leave lasting marks on the skin, and whilst moisturisers make skin feel more comfortable, they will not make the improvements to the visible changes that have developed over time.
Visible improvements require active ingredients in concentrated formulations.
I focus on clinically recognised skincare ingredients such as vitamin A, vitamin C, and peptides because they are well known for improving the appearance of the concerns men commonly notice: uneven-looking tone, rough texture, redness, dullness, lines and wrinkles. Where advanced technologies are included (exosome-derived ingredients), they are selected to support high-performance cosmetic outcomes and healthier-looking skin.
Men see visible improvements when using these formulations. Stick to a daily 90 second routine, and like exercise and a healthy diet, results will show when you’re consistent. Not so much when you stop. Remember your skin continues to decline with age and by maintaining it, your skin can remain looking good. Similar to how some men maintain their cars, others may run there’s down to the ground, you have a choice.
Like our in clinic clients observe, your skin is going to improve greatly - and it gives me great satisfaction knowing I've helped you get there.
